Elevator Down

Whenever I have much typing to do, such as when I write a blog, I use my 24” iMac that has a pretty robust voice recognition system set up on it.  This computer is in my downstairs office (see photo— http://bit.ly/dKhxiM). Four weeks ago, the elevator broke down. Luckily I was upstairs.

Well… it took three and half weeks to fix the elevator. Don’t ask why. It has something to do with backordered parts, third-party companies, and elevator maintenance businesses that have to come from Detroit to fix my elevator.

They did get it back up and running just in time, though.  Last Tuesday they finally got the part replaced, so that last week I could spend tons of time down here preparing for teaching at Crossroads this past Sunday.

All that is to say that I haven’t been able to blog. But I’m back baby!
